Easy Desk vs Pro Mode
MyCrewTracker is built with two distinct interfaces designed for two different environments: the field and the office.
1. Easy Desk (The Field Interface)
Easy Desk is the streamlined, rapid-entry interface designed for use on mobile devices while standing on a job site. It strips away complex project management features and focuses entirely on capturing data quickly.
- Purpose: Fast, single-module data entry (e.g., submitting a Daily Report or uploading a Job Site Photo).
- Who uses it: Foremen, crew leaders, and field workers.
- Features: Access to all 20 specialized document modules.
- How it works: You select the document type you want to create, fill out the form, tag the Project it belongs to, and hit save.
2. Pro Mode (The Office Interface)
Pro Mode is the comprehensive project management dashboard designed for desktop use in the office or truck. It takes all the individual documents captured via Easy Desk and organizes them into a complete project record.
- Purpose: Managing projects, analyzing data, cross-referencing documents, and exporting records.
- Who uses it: Business owners, project managers, and office admins.
- Features: Project creation, team management, PDF exporting, and comprehensive timelines.
- How it works: Pro Mode gives you a bird's-eye view of everything happening across your company. When a foreman submits a Daily Report via Easy Desk, it immediately appears in the corresponding Project folder in Pro Mode.
3. How They Work Together
Easy Desk and Pro Mode share the exact same underlying database. They are not separate apps; they are just two different ways of looking at your data.
The standard workflow involves the field team pushing data in through Easy Desk, and the office team pulling data out (for clients or GCs) through Pro Mode.
